"He found the colors..." Tag

I love small and quick challenges, like these from More than Words. They stand for a tag, ATC or card including a word. Some days ago I found a phrase which includes the proposed word so I thought it is perfect for this challenge and decided to participate!

This mini-challenge is made through their FanPage on Facebook and it only takes to upload the project on the post, so this is the tag I made. Taking the sentence I chose into account, the base is grey but the background is full of color.

Chipboard is from The Dusty Attic. It is painted with acrylic paints Dusty in Color, and added movement by opening the chipboard leaves in layers. The background is created mixing different colors with Distress Ink and water, silver Dusty in Color, stencil and some stamps. I also added microspheres from 13@rts.

This is the sentence that inspired me... don't you think it is beautiful? All flowers are from I am Roses.

Down the tag it is seen the grey paper used as base, which is from Maja Design. On the colored paper I used a Tim Holtz die to let the grey paper show.

This butterfly is a stamp from Martha Stewart, painted with some Distress Ink colors. Maybe you cannot see it on the photo, but I used also Mica Powders in Vintage Pink to give the butterfly wings a bright shadow.
